It can be due to following reasons.
- winter: Due to dehydration
- Fungal; Due to yeast
- sometimes due to unknown reasons
Treatment
- Don't use hair oil in dandruff. especially the mustard oil. it is bit irritant to the dry skin.
- use antifungal shampoo having ketoconazol on alternate days with normal shampoo.
- In severe cases use ketoconazol tablets for 10-14 days
- brush your hair regularly.
